Security

How is the data connection on the MY24COACH platform secured?

SSL technology is at the heart of encryption for the data connection between browser and server. Nowadays we talk about Transport Layer Security (TLS). This is more generally known, however, under the previous name of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). TLS/SSL is a hybrid encryption protocol to secure data transmissions on the Internet. The http protocol is secured using SSL. It then becomes https:// in your browser’s address line (HTTPS: Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure).

How does the MY24COACH platform protect this data?

  • The servers operate in data centres in Germany.
  • Access to the MY24COACH platform is password protected.
  • Passwords are encrypted in the database. No-one knows the password other than the user – not even Admin.
  • Passwords sent via the Internet are changed immediately after the first time you access the platform.
  • The database is secured against unauthorised access.
